We were particularly lucky this year as the weather was amazing! Camping gives me time out to reflect on my journey and spend time with the precious people in my life. Mojo has been on an epic journey since its inception and there are some exciting times to come.
Team News
At the end of July we had a team night out to the bowling at Lane 7. Some of the team have been both working and studying hard up to their AAT examinations. We are such a busy team we don’t always have a lot of time to chat during the day so it is great to get out and chat to each other about things other than work! Lane 7 is a fantastic venue covering a range of different fun activities and several choices to eat and drink in their street food style courtyard. Highly recommended if you are looking for a team get together.
Work Updates
We are working with an ever growing number of clients who are still using desktop based systems such as Sage 50 and want to move to Cloud Based Software. Having Cloud based software that you can access from anyway has many advantages. We are currently transitioning clients from Sage and other softwares to systems like Xero or Quickbooks. This means that they can keep on top of their books ‘on the go’, chase debt, check the bank balance and check their profit so far. Whilst it is not always beneficial for every business to move over it is worth thinking about if you want to stay ahead with the technology.

Since we’ve had a little outfit change, we no longer offer any tax-related services to new clients. So, here is the latest services list of Mojo Bookkeeping! We’re still your go-to bookkeeping team in Leicester, so feel free to give us a call if you have any queries or questions

Beer and Business – Leicester Business Networking Group in aid of PROSTaid
Great to be part of this great cause for PROSTaid. The event was held at the fantastic Leicester Lions Rugby Club in Blaby. The Blaby Beer Festival was a great success with over 20+ ales and lager and a selection of gins and prosecco!
Hosted by the amazing Rob Spence as per usual, always going the extra mile to make it a success. Many thanks to Faye Louise Lord for representing PRIOSTaid.
Mojo’s very own Claire Flinders and Gary Zimmerman attended the event! PROSTaid was started in 2006. They are a local, registered, independent prostate & prostate cancer charity, based in Wigston, Leicestershire. PROSTaid covers Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire, they rely on donations and bequests to continue their work and receive no government funding. They are run by prostate cancer patients, families, friends and urological professionals.
They provide Information & counselling for all prostate cancer & prostate disease suffers and their families given by local men who themselves have prostate cancer & diseases of the prostate!
